Year 9 Football Match

The Year 9 football team continued their league campaign last night with a big away trip to Venerable Bede, knowing another positive result would strengthen their push at the top end of the table.

A rallying team talk, a few personnel changes and a tactical tweak completely transformed the performance after the break. Everything that had been missing in the first half appeared in abundance during a dominant second-half display.

The win extends the team's outstanding run to eight consecutive victories — an excellent achievement so far, in what has been a highly competitive league and cup campaign. We now await completing our last league game after half term, as well as finding out our cup final opponents and venue.
