Northumbrian Water Limited (NWL) serves a population of 2.5 million people in the north east of England with water and sewerage services trading as Northumbrian Water and1.8 million in the south east of England where we provide water services trading as Essex & Suffolk Water. Its headquarters are in Durham and it employs over 3,000 people.
It is an independent company listed on the Stock Exchange in London and is one of the ten regulated water and sewerage businesses in England and Wales. Our role is to provide a sustainable, affordable, clean and safe water supply and to manage and treat the waste water returned to us in a way that protects the environment.
Northumbrian Water has a strong record of developing partnerships with schools and we have used this experience to support the development of Castle View Enterprise Academy over the last three years.
