Swimming Gala

Sunderland Schools Swimming Gala

A very popular event with our year 7 students this year. Many students turned up to trial out for the swimming gala and those selected remained committed to the event by attending weekly training sessions after school to practice and prepare. For many of our students this was the first competitive swim they had been a part of and they done very well. Their behaviour was excellent and throughout the gala showed brilliant sportsmanship. The two year 10 girls worked together in the relay race and finished 1st place.
