Attendance and holidays in term time

It is a parent's responsibility to ensure that their child attends school every day.

Every school day missed by a student has a negative impact on their academic progress and ability to achieve their potential. The Academy expectation for attendance is 100% for every pupil. The Academy target for attendance is 95% and it is expected that every pupil will strive to achieve this target as a minimum.

The Academy will not authorise term-time holidays except under exceptional circumstances.

The term-time dates for pupils to attend during the academic year 26-27 are:

Thursday 3rd September 2026 to Friday 23rd October 2026 (inclusive)

Monday 2nd November 2026 to Friday 18th December 2026 (inclusive)

Parent Payments

As part of our move to Arbor, the way that you pay for lunch accounts and other items will be changing in September, and the current payment system through Iris Payment will stop as of the last day of the summer term, Friday 17 July.

We will be launching the Arbor parent app in September and this will become the main platform for information about your child in the academy, accessing homework information, payments and more. We will be in touch closer to this time with instructions about how to set up your Arbor account and download the app.

Any outstanding credit on lunch accounts will be carried over from this academic year to the next so any money you have paid and is not used by the end of the year will not be lost, however, please do not make any payments via Iris Payment (parentmail.co.uk) after Friday 17 July.
