CVEA U14 Girls – League Champions Season Report
The CVEA U14 Girls have crowned an incredible season by finishing as league champions, a well-earned reward for their dedication, teamwork, and resilience. From the first whistle of the season to the final victory, the team showed relentless determination, overcoming every challenge and emerging unbeaten against all opposition.
At the heart of the team's success was an unbreakable defensive unit, marshaled by goalkeeper Charlotte Renno, whose composure and shot-stopping ability provided a solid foundation. In front of her, the defensive line of Lily Mould, Adele Jones, and Lily Scott worked tirelessly, shutting down attacks and ensuring the team remained resolute under pressure.
In midfield, Millie Burke, Francesca Young, Izzy Naugher, Laina Widger, Ava Ramsay and Miley Richardson controlled games with their energy, creativity, and relentless work ethic. Whether breaking up opposition attacks or driving the team forward, their influence was key to turning hard-fought battles into victories.
Leading the line, Gia Borthwick proved a constant threat, showcasing skill, determination, and an eye for goal that made the difference in crucial moments. Her ability to capitalize on chances was a testament to the team's attacking play and selfless teamwork.
