Cricket Tournament

After receiving coaching, local primaries are invited to attend the cricket tournament to practice the skills they have developed in their lessons in a competitive environment. The schools will compete against each other for the trophy. From here students will be asked to attend our Talent ID sessions with the hope of receiving a place in Castle View Enterprise Academy's Cricket Academy.

Talent ID - After completing in the football and cricket tournament, individuals will be selected to attend the Talent ID sessions which run consecutively for four weeks. Here the students will receive extra coaching from qualified coaches to develop their skills further. At the end of the Talent ID process the individuals are invited to apply for a space in the Sports Academy.

The girl's football festival is an opportunity for girls to receive coaching from the girl Sports Leaders from Castle View Enterprise Academy, this is followed by non-competitive games. This festival is an opportunity for many students to represent their school for the first time and enjoy playing a sport that may be new to them.

BAE Roadshow (Yr7, Yr8) - Morning

The theme is ‘From the depths of the oceans to outer space.' and will examine the engineering challenges that are faced when travelling to the most inhospitable places and discover some of the innovative solutions to these problems.
