Reading and Literacy

At Castle View Enterprise Academy all staff are teachers of literacy.

All staff are responsible for the teaching of literacy in their classroom and the development of Literacy skills to help learners improve the standard of their work.

We have high expectations of all our learners and expect them to make the best possible progress within their subjects. Literacy is a fundamental part of raising standards within the Academy. The development of good literacy skills and effective use of literacy strategies are essential in guaranteeing successful learning.
