Mr A Quinn

First and foremost, I am a Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages, specialising in Spanish and French. My love for languages was nurtured when I was a pupil at St. Edward’s College in Liverpool and through opportunities to live, study and work in both Bordeaux in France and in Murcia in Spain I have become fluent. I graduated with a degree in Modern Languages, Literature and linguistics from Manchester Metropolitan University and later decided to apply to study for a PGCE at Sheffield University. I subsequently moved to the northeast and started my teaching career in two schools in County Durham and in my last post was Learning Director for Culture and languages with a responsibility for several subjects.

I joined CVEA in September 2016 to further develop my leadership skills and, as well as being responsible for the delivery of Spanish and French in the Academy, I coordinate the High Potential Students programme as part of the Innovation Unit.
