Mrs G Waite

Gemma completed a BA Hons Degree in Performance at Northumbria University providing the essential academic knowledge required, however, it was performing to audiences across the world, from the early age of 16 that developed the skills necessary for her to thrive in the entertainment business.  Entertaining audiences of thousands in such places as Hong Kong, the USA and all across Europe helped develop her talent and passion for performing.

Appearing on BBC's "Star for a night" in 2001, ITV's "X-Factor" and "This Morning" in 2006, were huge career highs which led to further performance opportunities and ultimately gave Gemma the chance to work at Castleview Academy within the Performing Arts department.  Whilst working at the School Gemma's passion turned from performing to teaching and from that came the idea of working in a School to develop local talent, utilising the facilities at hand and teaming up with some of the North Easts most talented and experienced professionals.
