Oxford University - What is university?

As part of Oxford University's outreach programme, we were visited by Hannah from St Anne's College.  In the workshop, students from years 7 and 8 explored:

• what is a university and how many there are in the UK
• what it is like to study at university 
• what subjects can be studied at university (there are over 37,000 different courses!) 
• what skills can be developed at university
• how a collegiate university like Oxford operates

We look forward to welcoming Hannah back in the summer term to find out more.
