For the safety of the children of critical key workers and our school staff, please ensure that all children coming to school on Monday have followed social distancing measures this weekend and continue to do so over the weeks and months to come. This is VITALLY important to protect other children and staff. We would ask that you please consider the safety of all our children and staff. If you are working at home, your child would be safer and protected from the virus with you.

If you have not spoken to anyone working in hospitals across the country or who has had COVID-19 we would strongly recommend it. This virus is serious; people are going to get ill, people are going to die. Please, please follow government guidelines for staying at home and keeping your children at home wherever possible.

The message from Gavin Williamson, the Education Secretary is as follows:
You should only send your child to school on Monday if you have to, because your work is critical to our COVID-19 response. If you are able to keep your child at home, you should #StayHomeSaveLives. We will of course endeavour to support our critical workers and their children and are proud to do so but if at all possible do not send your child to school unless it is absolutely necessary.
We will be insisting that social distancing measures are put in place for all students who need to attend school, for their own protection, your protection and that of our staff.  Students will be asked to work over 2 metres apart and staff will be asked to stay over 2 metres away from students.

Please stay safe and follow the Government guidelines.  We have attached a flow chart to try to help parents with their decisions.
